While some decisions need to be made quickly, we’ll work with you to accommodate your timeframe. Typically, funerals are arranged within a few days, but we understand that this can vary depending on individual circumstances.

Yes, we offer pre-paid funeral plans to help you plan for the future. These plans allow you to lock in today’s prices and relieve your family of financial and emotional burdens later.

Funeral costs can vary depending on the service options you select. We’ll provide you with a clear and transparent breakdown of all costs, including the funeral service, transportation, flowers, and any additional items. We aim to offer services at competitive rates without compromising on quality.

After cremation, you can choose to keep the ashes in a container, scatter them in a meaningful place, or incorporate them into a memorial piece, such as jewellery or a memorial urn. We can help with these arrangements as well.

We can recommend a celebrant who can guide the service, but we’re also happy to work with a celebrant of your choice. Our aim is to ensure the service reflects your loved one’s life and values.

All disbursements are due within 24 hours of the funeral arrangements being made. The final invoice will be sent to you within 7 days after the funeral, and the outstanding balance must be paid within 21 days. For direct cremations and burials, full payment is required within 24 hours once the arrangements have been confirmed.

1 - CONTACT A DOCTOR - If the death occurs at home, the first step is to contact the GP or out-of-hours doctor to confirm the passing and issue a medical certificate, however if the death happens in a hospital or care home, the staff will usually handle this for you.

2 - NOTIFY CLOSE FAMILY & FRIENDS - Reach out to close family and friends to let them know what has happened. You don’t have to do this alone - ask someone you trust to help share the news.

This support network will be important in the coming days.

3 - CALL US - We’re available 24 hours a day to offer guidance, answer your questions, and bring your loved one into our care with dignity and respect. Call us on +44 (0) 1432 341 871 – we’ll take it from here, one step at a time.

4 - REGISTER THE DEATH - This is usually done at the local registry office within 5 days (we can guide you through the process).

5 - BEGIN PLANNING THE FUNERAL - We’ll meet with you at a time that suits you, either at our office or in your own home, to gently guide you through funeral arrangements. From choosing the type of service to handling paperwork, Shayne and the team will be with you every step of the way.
